Well here I am in Las Vegas. It hasn’t been fun so far though. Our flight arrived on time at 10:50 p.m. last night, which is 1:50 a.m. at home, so I was already exhausted. And there is a whole big long story about getting our rental car, but I’ll spare everyone all the details, because it just makes me mad to think about it. I’ll sum it up by saying it took about 2 hours to get a rental car. So that means it was about 2:30 a.m. (5:30 a.m. our time) before we got to bed. I had been up almost 24 hours. That is SO not good, especially when you’re pregnant. Let’s just say, I was sick already, and that didn’t help matters.
Anyway, I’m sitting here in our hotel room while Jamie is gone to one of his meetings or something. He had to be there at 7:30 this morning, so he didn’t get much sleep. But neither did Roxie or I, because Roxie woke up the same time Jamie did and wouldn’t go back to sleep. Vegas looks like a fun place, but right now, I have no energy to venture out there on my own (with Roxie) to check it out. So I’m waiting til Jamie gets back so he can go with us.
On a happier note, I did get Twilight loaded onto my iPod before I left, so I was able to watch it on the plane. That was so cool. I also wore my Twilight sweatshirt, and Bart and Lisa bought me a Twilight tote bag, which I used as my carry-on. So yeah, I was a Twilight-nerd on the way here. lol
I did a couple of cakes before I left. One was a guitar. This picture was taken before I put on a few last details:

Did I mention that I am pregnant? Yeah, that was a shock. I’m finally getting used to the idea…..I think. Four kids. What have I gotten myself into? Every hair on my head will be gray by the end of the year.

Ok, so I was reading the first part and you just said “for someone who is pregnant” like we were supposed to know, so then I thought I’ve got to go back and figure out when I missed that announcement……..!!!! You’ve got great kids and they are all fun, so it will just be one more guest at your party!!!

You know, I still have my gift card to Hot Topic and you’d think with all the Twilight merchandise there I’d find something to spend my money on…but no. I don’t want to wear a shirt with Edward plastered all over it…at least not in public. ;o)

@crimsonlocks - I wouldn’t want to wear a shirt with Edward’s face on it either. Those are cheesy. The shirt I have just says “Twilight”. I think the ones with Edward’s picture on them look like something a 13 year-old would wear. lol
@julamula - haha…Yeah, I thought I better explain that at the end since most people don’t know what I’m talking about. Thanks for the encouraging words!

Yeah, I was with everyone else on the pregnant thing — I had to stop and go back when I read that part. It was like “How did I miss that?!” So, WOW, very exciting! You can totally do four kids. I have a friend who had her fourth recently and she basically said that once you hit three kids, it doesn’t get any different, just throw a little more food in the pot at dinnertime. So, see? You’re already at four, you just didn’t know it
And I FINALLY saw Twilight this weekend! I’m going to need to see it again. I have the DVD, so I can just watch it over and over …

Sorry you had such a problem getting your rental car. What a drag! Hope you get some rest so you can feel up to doing stuff. Congrats on the baby ofcourse. I feel I must say it again since everyone else is..hahah. Love the cakes. What where the “details”? Love and miss you.
