Roxie is driving me nuts right now. She is singing nonstop. It was really cute at first, but now it's just annoying. lol Here's a little sample:
It's her birthday on Friday, so we're getting all geared up for her party. I hope I have the energy and time to do the cake that I have planned for her. I'm not sure I can top the one I did for her last year. Remember that one?
Yeah, I'm not planning something quite that complicated...haha But hopefully, it'll be cute.
I made a little Valentine's cake this week just for fun. I had seen the idea and wanted to try it. First I made the "candy" to go on top:
And yes, these are cake too....cake truffles.
And then I made the cake:
Yes, it's all cake. Red velvet. And now I have nothing to do with this cake. It's sitting on my counter. I won't eat it. I don't eat cake very often. And Jamie isn't a cake fan either. My family gets so much cake, that they totally don't appreciate it. Oh well, I guess we'll just look at it until it rots. lol
We ran into Elmo at the mall the other day. I'm not exactly sure what he was doing there, but the girls wanted me to take their picture with him. Elmo is a him, isn't he?:

Well I'm going back to watching Dateline now. The woman with the octuplets plus six more kids is on there. Crazy woman. lol

Love the valentine cake idea! So cute! Looks like a LOT of work.. maybe you could randomly call some of your previous customers and tell them about it, and ask them if they'd like to buy it.. ? Might get some money out of all that work.
Or take it to your kids school or something for the teachers.. anything to not watch it rot. haha

Yes it will be hard to top Roxie's last bday cake, but if anyone can, you can. She is a cutie with her song. Some people talk with their hands, she sings with her whole body. Funny girl.
That is relly cute to see her singing that song. And the danceing isn't to bad either.lol I have 4 and cannot even begin to imagine having 8 more, she is crazy.
Roxie is a good singer! I love that song, especially when she sings it.

You shouldn't feel the need to top last year's cake. Yeah, I remember it, but the important question is...does Roxie remember it? Probably not. lol Maybe the valentine cake will last til this weekend and you can just use it. lol
That woman with all those children IS crazy! I saw a piece on her on Good Morning America today and really it's just ridiculous. Remember a few years back when that couple had 8 kids and they got all kinds of freebies and media, and even their own tv show? I wonder if she's hoping the same will happen for her? Well tough luck lady, all you did was make everyone angry at you. lol
The Roxie video is cute, but yeah, I'm glad I only had to listen to 53 seconds of it. haha
